David is the managing partner of Harman, Claytor, Corrigan, & Wellman; a 23 lawyer civil litigation firm. David graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1979 and in 1986 from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He and his wife Jean have three sons; Conor a sophomore at the U. of South Carolina, Patrick a freshman at Hampden-Sydney College, and Jack a freshman at Collegiate High School.
David has been a supporter of the Makindu Children’s Centre since the inception of the Proper Walks in 2002. Since the 1980s, David has been on the Elk Hill Farm Board where he first met Michael and they developed a friendship that has culminated in two trips to Kenya – the first, a safari with his son Conor and Michael as their guide, and now as a Walker to support the vulnerable children of Makindu.
